Junior Bees Silver Jubilee
Middlesex FA Charter Standard Club of the Year
Above Sir Trevor Brooking awards Junior Bees the Charter Standard
Celebrating 25 years service to the football community.
The Club originally formed as part of the Brentford Supporter Club and was constitutionally linked to Brentford FC.
The Vision
As with all clubs, our history is very important to us and the past 25 years have given us a great foundation enabling us to establish ourselves within the local community and beyond as a friendly, welcoming community focused football club. Our vision for the future is integral if we wish to enjoy a further 25 years of success.
This year saw us awarded the prestigious Football Association Charter Standard, having fulfilled the demanding FA criteria, which ensures the highest level of football standards for our players.
All our enthusiastic coaches are qualified to a minimum of FA Level 1.
As a club we recognise the developments in the game and the need to keep up with change,
Junior Bees are currently at the forefront of the Give Us Back Our Game campaign (see GUBOG ).
Recognising the importance of children being able to develop their skill in a fun and enjoyable environment,
without excessive pressure from adults. Interestingly the word used by the Manchester United Academy for the training of their players is not coaching but nurturing a small and subtle difference, that Junior Bees sees as an important way forward for players at Grass roots football. If we wish to produce players the likes of Christiano Ronaldo, that play uninhibited football, they need to be nurtured.
